Today(20080218) I read a journal, Teaching Geography, published by Geographical Association in Spring 2008. One of the articles introduces an interesting website, Food Stories

It is one kind of teaching material for geography and citizenship for Stage 3 and 4 students in the UK. Maybe it can offer a teaching material in Taiwan as well.

Another interesting article is about using theme parks in Geography. Students can learn basic geographical knowledge via the theme parks. There are 4 ideas:
1) Using theme park maps to teach map skills.
2) Using the geogrphy in action pack. (offered by the theme park)
3) Memory game and sketch mapping
4) Environmental interaction, cultural understanding and diversity
Besides, theme park can be a main topic in the cross-curriculum design.
